Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before using NewsAgent. By registering or paying for a subscription, you agree to be bound by these terms.

01 Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms & Conditions, the following definitions apply:

  • "Platform" / "Service" refers to NewsAgent, the AI-powered news automation SaaS accessible at this website and its associated APIs.
  • "User" / "You" refers to any individual or legal entity that creates an account and uses the Service.
  • "We" / "Us" / "Company" refers to the operators and developers of NewsAgent.
  • "Subscription" refers to the paid Premium plan that grants enhanced usage rights for a defined period.
  • "Content" refers to any article, text, metadata, or media generated, processed, or delivered through the Platform.
  • "Delivery Channel" refers to the destination where articles are published — including WordPress sites, Gmail inboxes, or API endpoints.

02 Acceptance of Terms

By registering for an account, accessing the dashboard, initiating a payment, or using any feature of the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

If you are using the Service on behalf of a business or organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms, and references to "You" include that entity.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not register for or use the Service.

03 Account Registration

To access the Service, you must register using a valid email address and set a secure password. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • All activities that occur under your account, whether or not authorised by you.
  • Notifying us immediately of any suspected unauthorised access by calling or WhatsApp at +91 94062 14451.
  • Providing accurate and up-to-date registration information at all times.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these terms.

04 Plans & Subscriptions

NewsAgent offers the following plans:

  • Free / Demo Plan: Available for 3 days after registration. Includes up to 5 WordPress posts per day, 5 Gmail deliveries per day, and up to 50 API calls per day. No payment is required.
  • Premium Plan (₹5,000 / 30 days): Unlimited article publishing with no daily cap, full WordPress and Gmail delivery, AI rewrite in your language, auto-category classification, Telegram approval workflow, and priority support. The subscription is active for exactly 30 calendar days from the date of successful payment and does not auto-renew.

Plan limits, features, and pricing are subject to change with 14 days' notice to registered users. Your existing paid period will not be affected by any price change.

05 Payment & Billing

All payments are processed through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. We accept UPI, Net Banking, debit/credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay), and supported digital wallets.

  • All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Payment must be completed in full before Premium access is activated.
  • Your subscription begins on the date your payment is confirmed by Razorpay and runs for 30 consecutive calendar days.
  • We do not store your full card or banking credentials. Payment details are handled entirely by Razorpay under their own terms of service.
  • In the event of a failed transaction where funds have been debited from your account but Premium has not been activated, please contact us within 72 hours with your payment reference number.

Subscriptions do not auto-renew. You must manually purchase a new subscription before expiry to maintain uninterrupted Premium access.

06 Refund Policy

Due to the nature of the Service — which is digital, immediately provisioned, and actively used from the moment of activation — all subscription payments are non-refundable once Premium access has been granted.

Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis if:

  • A critical platform outage exceeding 48 continuous hours prevented you from using the Service.
  • A technical fault attributable solely to our infrastructure resulted in demonstrable loss of service.
  • You contact us within 48 hours of the initial payment with documented evidence of the issue.

Refunds will not be issued for: incorrect delivery channel configurations (e.g. wrong WordPress URL or app password), incompatibility with your WordPress theme or plugins, duplicate purchases, or change of mind after activation.

To request a refund review, contact us at +91 94062 14451 (call or WhatsApp) with your registered phone number and Razorpay payment ID.

07 Permitted Use

You may use the Service solely for lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to publish content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, or in violation of any applicable law.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract the source code of the platform.
  • Share, resell, or sublicense your account access to any third party without our written consent.
  • Use the Service to generate, distribute, or promote misinformation, spam, or phishing content.
  • Attempt to circumvent daily or monthly usage limits through technical means such as automated requests, credential sharing, or API key abuse.
  • Scrape or harvest data from the platform beyond normal API usage.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform's servers, networks, or security systems.

Violation of this clause may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

08 AI-Generated Content

NewsAgent uses large language models (LLMs) to rewrite and translate news articles sourced from public RSS feeds. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or unintended bias. You are solely responsible for reviewing content before publishing it.
  • We do not guarantee that AI-rewritten content is factually accurate, legally compliant, or appropriate for your audience.
  • You must not use AI-generated content in any manner that violates the copyright or intellectual property rights of the original article's author or publisher.
  • You accept full legal responsibility for any content published to your WordPress site, Gmail recipients, or API consumers through this Service.
  • We are not liable for any losses, claims, or damages arising from AI-generated content published through your account.

We recommend enabling the Telegram approval flow to review AI-rewritten articles before they are auto-published to your live site.

09 Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with or depends on the following third-party platforms:

  • WordPress — for article publishing via the WordPress REST API. Your WordPress installation, plugins, and hosting are outside our control.
  • Gmail / Google — for email delivery. Subject to Google's terms of service and sending quotas.
  • Telegram — for the approval workflow. Subject to Telegram's terms and API limitations.
  • Razorpay — for payment processing. Subject to Razorpay's terms and policies.
  • Ollama / LLM Providers — for AI-powered article rewriting. Model availability and quality may vary.
  • RSS Feed Providers — news sources are public RSS feeds. We do not control their availability or content.

We are not responsible for downtime, data loss, or service interruptions caused by any of the above third-party services. Changes to third-party APIs may temporarily affect platform functionality.

10 API Usage

API access is provided subject to the following conditions:

  • Free accounts: maximum 50 API calls per day.
  • Premium accounts: maximum 500 API calls per day.
  • Each account may hold a maximum of 5 active API keys at any time.
  • API keys must not be shared publicly (e.g. committed to public code repositories).
  • Keys found to be abused will be revoked without notice.
  • Exceeding rate limits will result in HTTP 429 responses. Continued abuse may result in account suspension.
  • API key regeneration is rate-limited to prevent abuse. You may regenerate a key a limited number of times per day.

11 Data & Privacy

We collect the minimum data necessary to provide the Service. This includes your email address, hashed password, delivery channel credentials (WordPress URL, application password, Gmail credentials), Telegram session data, and article processing logs.

  • Your credentials are stored encrypted and are never exposed in API responses, error logs, or to other users.
  • We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
  • Article content processed through the platform may pass through third-party AI model APIs. We recommend not processing sensitive or confidential information through the rewrite pipeline.
  • On account deletion, all your personal data, articles, API keys, and settings are permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
  • We use standard security practices including HTTPS, hashed passwords (bcrypt), and JWT-based authentication.

12 Intellectual Property

All platform code, UI design, branding, and proprietary algorithms are the exclusive intellectual property of the Company and are protected under applicable copyright and trade secret laws.

  • You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own lawful purposes during the period your account is active.
  • This licence does not grant you ownership of any part of the platform.
  • You retain ownership of your own WordPress site's original content. Articles generated through NewsAgent that incorporate third-party RSS content remain subject to the original publisher's copyright.
  • You must not remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices on the platform.

13 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Company and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.
  • Any harm arising from your reliance on AI-generated content published through the Service.
  • Service interruptions caused by third-party infrastructure failures, including hosting providers, payment gateways, or AI model providers.
  • Unauthorised access to your account caused by your failure to protect your credentials.
  • Any damage resulting from your violation of these Terms.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the 30 days immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

ℹ️

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability. In such cases, our liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.

14 Termination

Either party may terminate the account relationship at any time:

  • By You: You may close your account at any time from the dashboard settings. No refund will be issued for any remaining subscription days.
  • By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if you breach any provision of these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law.
  • Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately and your data will be scheduled for deletion within 30 days.
  • Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 8, 12, 13, and 15) shall continue to apply.

15 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.

Before initiating any legal proceedings, you agree to attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at +91 94062 14451 and allowing 30 days for a response.

16 Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
  • Notify registered users via WhatsApp or phone at least 14 days before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service before the effective date.
